The David Byrne reference as an influence is pretty apparent here, but I also hear some Mark Mothersbaugh (Devo) in the vocal delivery. For fans that are into "accessible" tunes, I'd recommend "Lucky Stars", "Remember" or "H Train". For those into the more twisted side of life, check out "Molly Ringwald is Dead." Notice any Warren Zevon stylings in there? Overall, it's an upfront look at life that probably all of us have been through if we face the facts. Mr. Zevon would have agreed.
